Highlights
Steve Brown is an author, television presenter, Paralympian, RSPB Ambassador and a proud father.
As a coach and mentor, Steve’s passion is to help others better themselves; he guides children and adults from all backgrounds through the minefield of life. His sporting expertise has lead him to cover events such as The Olympics, Paralympics, Invictus Games, the London Marathon and Wimbledon. His enthusiasm for wildlife and the natural world has resulted in him working on Countryfile, Escape To The Country, Blue Planet UK, travel shows and more. As a wildlife TV presenter he uses his position to educate millions of people about our natural world, why it’s important and the benefits it can bring you
Subsequent to a fall in his early twenties resulting in a spinal cord injury, Steve is tetraplegic and paralysed from the waist down with limited finger movement. His experience fuels his determination that everyone should be able to enjoy our outdoor spaces. His disability and needing a wheelchair limits the ways he can actively engage and his solution has always been wildlife orientated. Whilst bird watching for example, his disability is irrelevant, his focus is his surroundings.
Steve’s work has been recognised by professionals, TV viewers and charities alike. He’s been voted in the top 100 most influential people with a disability, won the RTS best new on-screen talent award, been made honorary freeman of the borough and is an RSPB ambassador.
He is a renowned public speaker, sharing what he has learnt throughout life to inspire, educate, humour and inform a variety of national and international audiences.
