Soph Jay Montgomery

Soph is a queer author from a northern, working-class background. After moving from Merseyside to London to study Film and Television Production, she graduated in 2016 with a love for screenwriting. Shortly after she decided to pour her creativity into writing middle-grade horror. She is currently living in Kent and working as a freelance copywriter. She loves cats, bats, corvids of all kinds, a good hot beverage and finding any excuse to dress in costume. Her work is strongly influenced by folk tales and fairy stories, and she is passionate about the lifelong impact these tales have on us.
