Soph is a queer author from a northern, working-class background. After moving from Merseyside to London to study Film and Television Production, they graduated in 2016 with a love for screenwriting. Shortly after, they decided to pour their creativity into writing middle-grade horror. They are currently living in Shropshire and working as a freelance copywriter. They loves cats, bats, corvids of all kinds, a good hot beverage and finding any excuse to dress in costume. Their work is strongly influenced by folk tales and fairy stories, and they are passionate about the lifelong impact these tales have on us.
