She published her first book, ‘A Special Day’, in the USA at the age of eighteen. Since then, Dubravka has devoted herself to children’s book illustration. She is very proud of her long-standing collaboration with UNICEF, for which she’s designed more than 80 cards and posters. Her books have featured on CBeebies Bedtime Hour. All her travels to incredible places such as the Amazon rainforest, African Savannah, Borneo, the Galapagos Islands, remote Pacific coral reefs, the Arctic and Antarctica are a constant source of inspiration for her. For years, she has volunteered in projects for the protection of the environment and animals.
