We are absolutely delighted to be welcoming Justin Lee, an author illustrator from Nova Scotia, to CWLA.

With 15 years experience working in animation and running his own illustration studio, Justin is entering the children’s publishing world. His work blends animation fundamentals with the energy of graffiti, starting in sketchbooks and finishing digitally. He is inspired by cartoons, jazz and baseball, and aims to bring that same sense of fun, movement and controlled chaos into his work.

Justin has worked with a wide range of high-profile companies, names and brands including Marvel, Nick Jr., MTV, CBC, Fox Kids and Family Guy to name a few. After studying art and animation in two programs, he graduated as valedictorian in both. He has worked across many roles: character design, storyboarding, directing, and more, creating projects for dozens of dream clients.

Justin’s work is buzzing with life and energy and we can’t wait to present his new ideas. Watch this space!
