Neurodiversity Inclusion Month
With April being Neurodiversity month, we thought it would be appropriate to share Nook, written by Sally Anne Garland and published by Sunbird Books. Nook is small and shy. She likes to sit in the cozy, comfy space of a hollow tree watching others play. When someone comes along to take Nook’s space, she feels lost and afraid, until she discovers she has friends looking out for her in ways she never imagined! This is a gentle story which explores shyness and sensory needs. It inspires kindness, inclusion and friendship. Watch this video of Sally reading her beautiful book. Available for purchase here.
