“Buddy” by Sue Lancaster Published in Parakeet Magazine

Our wonderful author Sue Lancaster has a new poem published in Parakeet Magazine! “Buddy” is a beautiful poem that explores the relationship between a family and their bird, expressing love and appreciation for their feathered friend. Sue’s poem perfectly expresses how we feel about our pets. 

Parakeet Magazine is an extension of Honeyguide Literary Magazine. Both magazines focus on the relationship between humans and animals, how we are similar, and the ways we affect each other’s lives. Unlike Honeyguide, Parakeet is aimed at children and young readers.
