Phil loves his family (including his dog and tortoises), wildlife, sustainability, Liverpool FC, writing, Shetland and people who make a difference. He has started and sold his own company, won a BAFTA, played and coached hockey for his country, written/developed award-winning CD-ROMs (remember them?!) and websites, worked with the likes of the BBC, London 2012, UEFA, ICC, RFU and WWF and written a children’s book with sporting superstars to raise money for the NHS.
When not writing or coming up with mad schemes, he looks after 350 16-18-year-olds as a Head of Sixth Form and also works as Head of Sustainability. Somehow, he also squeezes in being an Independent School Inspector.
