Lucy Barnard
Originally from Cheltenham, Lucy studied illustration in Exeter before moving to London to work in publishing. After joining Advocate Art as a freelance artist and illustrating many books for other authors, Lucy fulfilled her dream of writing her own children’s book in 2013 with Squirrel’s Busy Day. Since then, she has written and illustrated many other stories and has also written for other illustrators. Lucy works from her home studio in Manchester, her lovely rescue dog, Dina, always at her feet.
