Cara’s passion for writing began at a young age when she would write stories to read to her cat. Since then, many years later, her writing career has excelled in ways she could only have written for the heroines of her own stories.

She graduated from Richmond Drama School in 2002 and achieved a Distinction in Writing for Script and Screen Master’s degree at Falmouth University. Under various pseudonyms, Cara has authored a number of children’s books with most major international publishers including Scholastic, DK, Penguin Random House, Harper Collins and Bonnier, to name a few.
