Lexie Kahanovitz

Lexie Kahanovitz has led an interesting life that she says has made her destined to write children’s stories – from living on the Ringling Bros circus train to receiving a full graduate fellowship in screenwriting from Tisch’s Dramatic Writing Dept, NYU. Lexie worked as a screenwriter on popular children’s shows such as Frog and Toad (Apple TV+), Pete the Cat (Amazon) and City Island (PBS). She is currently writing and developing programmes for Netflix, Mattel, Max, and more. Lexie’s says her mission in life is twofold: to make difficult subjects funny, and to show that love and kindness are always the way to go.
